On this wiki site, your class will collaborate on projects and have online discussions about pertinent topics. You will create this wiki throughout the school year as we explore the "American Studies Experience." Information posted here will serve as an ongoing study guide, as well. I will post assignments and due dates on our wiki as they come up; assignments will also appear on my Schoolwires page, which you can access here: American Studies Schoolwires Page
Although each assignment may have its own requirements, here are some general guidelines to follow every time you create content on our site:
Guidelines
Headings, like the one above, should be Heading 2.
Use a horizontal line under big headings, like the one above, to create organization and style.
Use Bold to make categories under bigger headings stand out.
Use bullets to keep lists and links organized.
Use appropriate grammar with all work on this wiki, including discussions. (*We will revise our first assignment as a class so you'll have a better idea of what I'll expect. We will use this Wiki Rubric: wikirubric.pdf )
Use MLA citations when appropriate. (**See the Creative Commons Attribution Guidelines below; you are only permitted to post your OWN work to this wiki. Anything else will be considered plagiarism, and will be handled accordingly.)
